The Hillsborough Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Scramble will be held on Thursday, May 29 at Crotched Mountain Golf Club, Francestown, NH. Registration starts at 8am
and the Shot Gun Start is at 9am. Cost is
$100 per player and includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, free driving range balls, breakfast & lunch, prizes, on-course golf contests, Fantasy Golf and a chance at getting a hole-in-one and winning a new Arctic Cat donated by Livingston’s Arctic Cat. This years faire will include baskets, jewelry, blown glass, fabric art; paintings, pottery, photography; woodburning, blacksmithing, and more. In addition to artist displays in outdoor tents there will be artisans in the Center Club, Gallery at Well Sweep, Gibson Pewter and Sissi Studio.
Refreshments will be available in the Center Club for purchase from German John's of Hillsborough. On Saturday the 14th at 10am, the New Hampshire School of Falconry will give a demonstration. On Sunday the 15th from 12-3pm, Blue Grass music by "Late Night Radio" Also the Harrisville Morris Women, Ha' Penny and Muddy River groups will be performing.

Our costumed staff will be on hand to greet fair goers to the lovely grounds & gracious interiors of the 1804 Pierce Homestead. Pewter, cabinetry, handmade lace, spinning on antique wheels, blacksmithing, basketmaking, stencilling, spoon carving, weaving, herbals and more! Live music @ 1:00 PM! Come join Mr. Fritz Wetherbee will be signing his latest books, from 10 am to 12 noon.
Jonathan Gibson, of Gibson Pewter, the only contemporary pewter in the permanent collection of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, will be demonstrating using 18th & 19th century brass molds. Roger Dunlap 6th generation Cabinetmaker, will be demonstrating woodworking techniques.
Lovers of old houses will have the opportunity to meet David Bowers of Olde Window Restorers; Gary LaRose demonstrates blacksmithing; Roger Bradley, NH Woodworkers Guild, displays dovetail joinery; Mike Reopel will demonstrate gunsmithing. There will be a display of antique woodworkers planes & hatchets.
We are proud to include the deft hands of Anne Hennessey of Antrim's Wool Room; the herbal lore & knowledge of Joan Phipps of Sage Knoll Farms; the talents of Lynn Hendrickson and Janet Gilman; Elaine Kay, of ESK Creative, weaving, Robin Hoyt’s handcrafted baskets. The national award winning Manahan-Phelps-McCulloch Photography Collection will display rarely seen early photos. Perhaps you’ll spot your Great Grandmother or a cherished childhood scene.
Many crafts persons & artisans will offer items for sale.
