Peterborough’s Hometown Holiday

Come to Peterborough for two days of holiday lights and good cheer! Peterborough’s Hometown Holiday features the Holiday Trees Festival, the Lantern Parade, and the Town Tree Lighting. Visit us in Bass Hall for homemade cookies and warm cups of cocoa as we celebrate the most magical time of the year.
On Saturday, December 7, the festivities begin with the Holiday Trees in Peterborough opening at 10 a.m. (if you don’t get a chance to see the Holiday Trees on Saturday, the festival continues on Sunday). Enjoy a free performance of The Messiah at the Peterborough Unitarian Church at 4 p.m. Bass Hall at the Monadnock Center will be open from 5 to 7 p.m. with homemade cookies and cocoa- warm up here before and after the Lantern Parade and Town Tree Lighting at 5:45.
All events are free!
While you are in town, explore the shops for special gifts and plan to have dinner at one of the downtown’s many restaurants!
