Ponds, bogs, and forests make up this rural park of 400 undeveloped acres on the shore of Otter Lake. The park offers miles of hiking trails (some with wild blueberries and blackberries), and including a self-guided interpretive trail loop around Hogback Pond. Canoe and kayak rentals are available in the park. Interpretive rangers present Discover the Power of Parks nature program each summer week connecting participants with nature and heritage. 256 primitive camping sites available for tents or small RVs (hook-ups not available). Amenities include learning environments, a park store, pet-friendly (in select locations), picnic area, playground, restrooms, and showers. There is a modest entry fee and camping site fee.
