An 18-mile hiking trail passing through four New Hampshire towns from Richmond, on the MA/NH state line through Troy and Swanzey to the summit of Mt. Monadnock in Jaffrey, NH. It passes along Falls Brook, through a gorge, over Fern Hill, down Quarry Brook, and over Little Monadnock and Gap Mountain. This mix of public and private land creates a vital connector trail to the greater 114-mile Metacomet-Monadnock Trail that connects the Metacomet Ridge of the Pioneer Valley in Massachusetts to the south with Mount Monadnock. It also connects the 215-mile New England National Scenic Trail, which leads to the Long Island Sound, and the 48-mile Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway, which connects to another trail that leads to Ragged Mountain 10 miles north of Sunapee.
Northern terminus: 169 Poole Rd, Jaffrey, NH
Southern terminus: Greenwoods Rd, Richmond, NH (east of Falls Brook)
