Otter Brook Lake recreation area is full of a wide variety of outdoor opportunities. The 90-acre lake offers swimming on a 400-foot-long beach and a boat ramp. The state stocks Otter Brook both up- and downstream. Hunting is prime in this area for deer, beaver, and turkey. The picnic area has three shelters available with reservations, 90 tables, and 55 fireplace grills. The lake is surrounded by 3 miles of hiking trails and 458 acres of protected fields, wetlands, shrubbery, and forest. It attracts wildlife such as fox, raccoons, ducks, geese, and muskrat. Leashed dogs are allowed. The park has restrooms and a changing area.
