Shieling Forest

Elizabeth Yates McGreal, an acclaimed writer, gifted the 47-acre Shieling Forest with buildings and a library to help foster public interest and provide education on managing small private forests and natural resources properly. The forest has about two miles of easy, well-maintained, clearly marked trails with ample wildflowers and wildlife habitats. Leashed dogs are welcomed.
